
Who We Are: Scott Siegfried, Project Manager
Scott Siegfried brings to Masonry Preservation Services experience gained on both the consulting and construction side of building restoration. Scott spent time as a project engineer for a consulting engineering firm in the Washington, D.C. area and as a project manager for an exterior restoration contractor in the Philadelphia area. He has completed evaluations, written specifications, and overseen numerous restoration projects mainly focusing on building facades and parking garages. Scott’s contributions at MPS include field studies to evaluate building envelope deficiencies and failures, development of repair recommendations, and implementation and management of remediation efforts.

Responsible for forensic assessment of building exteriors, including field evaluation and report development, professional consulting support, development of estimates, and general construction management.

Project Manager
Estimated numerous projects, ranging from five thousand to one million dollars in cost; met with owners and engineers; and completed construction management services including compiling submittals, ordering materials, attending meetings, and finishing all tasks necessary for the completion of a successful project. Focused mainly on masonry repairs and exterior waterproofing, working on projects such as repair at Lincoln Financial Field and development of a five-year restoration program at Mercy Hospital in Philadelphia.

Project Engineer
Involved in every aspect of the repair and restoration group at FEA. Regularly met with clients and evaluated building exteriors and parking garages, wrote specifications and developed construction documents, oversaw the entire bidding process, and completed construction management services on numerous construction projects. Was also involved in several condition assessments and due diligences of buildings in both the D.C. area and across the country. Project involvement included construction management of a large restoration project at Watergate, project management during repairs at RFK Stadium, and evaluation of numerous buildings at several National Parks.
