MPS sets quality standard for repairs at Pennsylvania State Capitol Building
MPS has completed the pilot phase repairs at the dome peristyle deck of the Pennsylvania State Capitol Building. MPS, as part of the design team, implemented a structural and architecturally appropriate solution to stabilize unsound masonry and limit water intrusion. Work included heavy stone removal and replacement, flashing and waterproofing installation, and a new metal roof with intricately detailed metal profiles that must follow the curvature of the existing stone.
