The ASHE Healthcare Construction Certificate (HCC) program was recently completed by Erik Valentino. Understanding of the latest compliance issues in healthcare construction was the focus of the program. This program enhances MPS’s ability to work effectively and efficiently in the healthcare physical environment during challenging facade restoration projects. Understanding the needs and expectations of the healthcare facility owner, staff, patients, and visitors and how they apply to the construction process is important in strengthening the relationship between the contractor and the healthcare facility. Critical factors to be considered in the healthcare planning, design, and construction process were reviewed.
